I forged this spike axe from a ball peen hammer’s head.
The handle is made of wild olive that some people might think could be too hard for an axe handle, but I have tested it by chopping some wood and even hacked away at the wild mulberry tree in my backyard. I tested the Spike side on an old telephone directory…scary shit!
I made a brass cap with my logos on and also gave the handle a varnish.
