I forged this Japanese style sickle (kama) from 5160 leave spring. The thing that took the most time was the teeth which I filed in one at a time with a needle file and elbow grease (not to mention patience).
I blackend the blade, and gave the handle a copper cap/ferrule for extra strength during use.
